Hello,

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your help/advice.

Sorry I didn't get back to many of you as I am juggling this with work.

As I'm sure you are all aware it has been sold to someone who said they will take good care of it which means a lot as I don't like things to go to waste.

I was surprised how quickly it got snapped up to be honest.

A quick search of ebay shows 1300£ minus the engine to 4000£ for a fully restored example.
I'd say 1500£ to 2500£ depending on the local market. Reach out to a local shop specializing vintage vespas, and they should be able to give you an idea. Failing that, if you spot someone riding an old vespa, stop and have a conversation. They may know someone in a club who could advise.
Running will fetch more £ than not running.
Good luck!

It needs time, trouble and money put into it but it's 100% worth preserving.

Please don't split it, it should be treated as a survival bike and not restored. Just a sympathetic going over.

I would absolutely have it if it was closer to me but sadly it's almost the length of the country away.

To the guys in the UK: what year is that? I remember going to London around 1991 and seeing unique metallic colored T5s at a dealership, in colors I hadn't seen on the continent: this dark red, a green, and a blue.

Too bad for the carrier holes in the legshield.

Edit: never mind, I looked it up: G reg was 1989-1990.
