Do you have a motorcycle license, or just a car license, which is why you're considering the MP3? Or to put it another way: Let us know why are you interested in the MP3?

Out of 100 people who are looking to switch from a motorcycle (to Piaggio group vehicles) for these reasons, it feels like at least 95 would choose a Vespa GTS/GTV 310 and at most 2–3 would choose an MP3…

Before you make a decision, be sure to test ride a GTS/GTV 310 AND an MP3 310. An MP3 handles completely differently from a Vespa (and, of course, both differently from a motorcycle, too).

Don't let anyone talk you into an MP3 400/530 - the MP3 310 is the more nimble vehicle in terms of size and weight.

If it's a viable option for you in visual and size aspects, also check out the Piaggio Beverly 310/400 or the brand-new Aprilia SR GT 400 (available in Europe starting in April/May).

Gruessig von Zuri. Don't forget to have a look at the Beverly 400. I think this scooter is the best one in the Piaggio line-up because of its big wheels: the power, handling and suspension are all very good. Luepimoto in Meggen is worth a visit.

The Aprilla 400 uses the same engine as the Piaggio BV 400. An excellent and strong/ powerful engine. Excellent wet clutch also.IMO.
