Hi all,

For starters, it's my 1st posting here, so hi Scooter emoticon
I own a Piaggio MP3 500 HPE Business, built in 2020.
I recently bought a set of metal covers for the steering brake fluid reservoirs as my old ones were quite ugly.
Looks nice, but after a few days I noticed that they leak: the outer rim is slightly thicker than the gasket, meaning the gasket is not really fixated.

Now I've already thrown out the old covers (I know, I shouldn't have, lesson learned !) so I will need a new set. And I think I'll stick with original.

So, does anyone know the P/N of the covers, and if possible also the gaskets?

EasyParts diagrams are the best source of information for parts information.

Before browsing the parts diagram, make sure you know the exact variation of 2020 Mp3 Business you have. Different market zones have slightly different parts even though they're all called the same name. Even if your not ordering parts, studying these will help greatly for future maintenance or upgrades.

Check your bikes VIN with a lookup tool then drill down into the EasyParts components pages once you know exactly which variation of Mp3 you have.

Digging into the website for Mp3 2020 Business gives this page based on the information given, I found this. Part number 13 "Hydraulic Brake Pump" so you may have to buy the whole unit to get the one part cover.

What I would recommend, see if you can have a local machine shop adjust the cover so it fits properly before buying net new just to harvest one part.

I found the same thing but I had hoped I wouldn't need to buy the two full units. Surely you can get these parts without purchasing the full assembly? Especially a gasket, seems to be a trivial replacement part.

I like the idea of having the current covers modified. Have to look where to do that though.

Good suggestions, I'll give these a try.
