Shock Bushings & Silent Block Shot At Only 6k Miles?

While doing the first valve adjustment on my scooter I noticed the rear shock bushings are completely toast and the silent block is showing quite a bit of cracking. Are the rubber bushings normally this short-lived? 2021 GTS with 6000 miles.

Maybe if the top of the rear shocks was not tighten particularly well, then there'd be more sidewise tilting at the bushings at the bottom of the shocks ... Think looking from the rear, the rectangle formed by the two shocks becoming a rhombus. This always happens a bit but if it happened significantly more severely than usual ...
