Hi guys, the stand spring on one side of my GS150 keeps unhooking from the stand leg. Is there a common cause for this and how can I keep the bike upright and safe so I can work on the stand.

You either need new springs or a new stand. Probably new springs.

Get yourself a piece of steel rod that's just small enough in diameter to pass through the cowl peg holes on the frame. Pass the rod through both holes and support each end of the rod with a jack stand. I did this until I built my Vespa Stand. It worked fine!
