I first joined MV back in 2007. My original account was Safire. A lot has happened in the past (gasp) 21 years! I crashed my Vespa and never made it back on two wheels again. I just found a box that had my old Modern Vespa patches from 2007 to 2010. Brought back a lot of great memories. I really loved riding and being a part of the MV community. I don't have the email associated with the account anymore, to recover my original member name, but I was able to look at all the posts I had made back then. Is there a way I can use my original account agin? I'm shopping for a Vespa now and hope to get back on the road agains soon. So, HI AGAIN! Looking forward to catching up.

The moderators can edit the email on the Safire account to something else - but it cannot be the same email as an existing account, like the one you've got here! Also, it's not possible to delete accounts, so that's not a possible solution. So please PM or email me what new email address you'd like to use, and I can make the Safire account use that.
(This is why I always recommend having your own domain, so you can easily have as many email addresses as you want.)

I'm sort of in the same situation. I joined over 20 years ago, life circumstances had us sell off both of our GTS 250's. In the photo area I see posts from me and my higher standing than lurker. Is there a way to get that back? If necessary I can give you a different address too. My old user name was Dillinger-63.
Thanks ........ Oh, and I'm looking at getting another Vespa. I don't know if this will help but I went through the old post a pic area and here's a screen shot with my old avatar. I'd even like to get my old user name back of that is possible.

I found my old avatar from waaaaaay back when so I changed it. Sadly it's no longer a .gif. The old one was cool in that it looked like he was riding. Anyway, I'm going to look at a 2027 GTS Super Sport either tomorrow or the day after. The issue is the dealership is 275 miles away and I don't have a way to get it to where I live if I decide to buy it. Maybe, I'll luck out and they deliver.
