So I have a cracked seat right below the butt, above the seat sensor. I bought myself a cover but didnt put it on in time. Now it is raining and the cracks are a bit wet. It is raining sideways, not directly on it. Is it possible the seat sensor goes in tilt because of the rain?

Not immediately, but probably best to put duct tape over the crack ASAP to prevent further water ingress

I tried duck tape, many types and it gets off in a week.
It looks like there is a lot of butt movement. Anyway, I bought a purpose sticker and I am planning to cover the whole section with it. Maybe it will help. |

Tspe and stickers are only (very) short term solutions.
Retrim or buy a seat are the only long term options. |

I have successfully repaired a motorcycle seat with Tear-Aid. It lasted for several years up and until the moment I installed a new cover on the seat.
I also use it for the above-ground pool and the tent's PVC groundsheet. Also very demanding repairs and it hardly ever fails. There are two types: one for vinyl and PVC, and another for other materials. You do need to use the right one. https://www.tear-aid.nl/en/ |

Not duck tape. It is called duct tape.
No need to start killing off the duck species. 🦆 |

Origins and HistoryWorld War II invention: Developed in 1942 as a waterproof, hand-tearable sealing tape for ammunition boxes. The name: Named "duck tape" because it was made from cotton duck cloth and repelled water like a duck's back.Name shift: After the war, it was used to seal heating and air conditioning ducts and colored silver to match metalwork, leading to the common term "duct tape".
