Hi,

The scooter sometimes is chocking in stationary and this usually means dirty butterfly. I mentioned this to my mechanic and he said it is quite a job to get to it. Is it realy that complicated? Can I do it alone?

Air bypass port is usually the cause for bad idle.

Don't mess with the butterfly

Cleaning the bypass is easy.
(At least on a gts which has the same throttle body. I'm making the assumption that getting at the throttle body on an mpe is not much harder) Think some people refer to the whole throttle body as a butterfly causing confusion.
