Thread title error!

I have 2016 not a 2026!

I read in a 4-year-old post (see below) that at least for the 2021 model years the H7 halogen high beam bulb was retained by a Piaggio OEM bayonet cap that was unique and didn't allow installation of a LED replacement.

Is that true for the 2016 or does it have the standard H7 bulb retention clip so a Osram LED diode assembly with the big heat sink will clip right in without having to MacGyver a way of retaining the LED assembly?

3rd gen MP3 all use the same H7 bulb setup

Thanks but being new to the family, I do not yet know what the generations are.

I did a search but it resulted in statements that currently there are only two 500 size gens, 08~13 & 14 ~ "present", the second including the HPE engine. But that search was undated.

Are you saying my 16 is a 3rd Gen not 2nd?

Furthermore, does only my high-beam H7 halogen bulb also have the proprietary retention "clip" and to fit a LED diode unit with a heat sink or fan a custom means of retaining it properly must be devised???
