Hey guys,

Some of you may have noticed some chatter about a ride to Marin over in the SF Bay Area - Jess and I will be heading up - depending on how brave we're feeling, maybe as far as the Point Reyes Lighthouse (though we obviously can stop where-ever we want ) - I'm thinking we meet up at the GG bridge, over by the touristy area at around noon and ride up across the GGB -> through Sausalito, up Shoreline through Stinson on the 1 until we either get really sick of riding or reach somewhere neat.

Feel free to come along!

(edit - note the date of the ride would be 11/13. apparently I can't count)

also, remember, since this will involve riding on a major bridge, temporary freeway driving (from the bridge to the Sausalito exit) and then a 50mph speed limit on parts of the 1 that your bike's displacement is highway legal.

The Legal Speed Limit on the GG bridge is 45 MPH. So 50cc scoots are legal on the bridge. You have to exit at the first exit right after the bridge.

Im originally from San Lorenzo though (close to oakland) so home isnt too far from you guys.
When it gets warmer i plan to ride the vespa down to the bay.

Cool. I'm mapping a route now. VespaSF is pretty easy, gotta plot out the path the GG bridge.

Yeah I am. There's a big parking lot and a bus stop, and it's on the right side of the bridge coming from SF to the bridge.
