I have a LX 125 with PM exhaust. It sounds like a mini Ducati on stationary and howls like a superbike on full throttle. What is strange though is that for ET/LX with Leader engine you must use a "dog bone" shaped extension plate. With this plate the exhaust comes much lower as without and moves a lot (+- 3cm). Due to this excessive movement the extension plate bends. I've E-mailed PM a while ago to tell them about the fauty delivered bolts for my exhaust and the T-bone shaped extension bracket that bends. Never got an aswer! So now I've made a new extension bracket wich is thicker and a little bit longer so the two parts of the exhaust finally fit properly and added an extra rubber ring between the extension bracket and the CNC bracket to reduce the movement. The movement of the exhaust is now less (about 1 cm instead of +3 cm!). With the old bracket it was frightening! I thought the thing was falling of! So did the people driving behind me! I think personally that they never tested the exhaust on a LX. (I mean driving around...) Never mind, the exhaust looks and sound great! It's only a pitty that they don't react. I'm not that angry but maybe they can fix the problem. It's also strange that you can't fix the exhaust like on the picture of the blue ET. I wonder is there that much difference between a L.E.A.D.E.R and not L.E.A.D.E.R. engine? (in construction of the exhaust port or positioning of the exhaust port?) Does anybody know more? Exploded views of the two engines?
