Can someone tell me how you do that thing with links to external sites where a word is a link.

Like if i wanted some people to go to wikipedia, i dont have to put the whole link in the post i just have a word ie wikipedia and its underlined.

it seems to be a much better idea than having a huge string of url stuff.

hope that makes sense

Not meaning to sound ignorant but do all the characters have to be entered manually or can the link be tagged somehow? If all those keystrokes have to be made, I would think it's easier to copy and paste the link, although it won't look as cool as a LOOK HERE.

One of many possible approaches:
  1. Copy the url you want to link to.

  2. Type your link text.
    LOOK HERE
  3. Select your link text and then click the URL button
    (as highlighted by ScootNinja above).
    LOOK HERE
  4. Type "=" immediately after "url" in the first tag.
    LOOK HERE
  5. Paste the url.
    LOOK HERE

Result: LOOK HERE
