Has any one added foot pegs to their scoot? I would like to be able to stretch out my legs on long rides. Is this possible, or not? thanks in advance, Beale.

I have passenger footpegs---I put them on my LX150. They don't have footpegs that I know of for the driver. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here, please.

What I did was buy the ET4 passenger footpegs from scooterworks.com (http://www.scooterworks.com/Passenger_Footpegs_ET4_P2036C242.cfm) and installed them on my LX150. You will need a different set of screws, though, because the ones that come with it are too short. I went to Ace Hardware and got some metric machine screws, and I think their size is M6 x 1.00 but bring the screws with you.

I'll post pics later of what it looks like with the footpegs mounted, as well as the actual screw itself so you can see what you need to get...

Foot pegs?
Thanks for the reply. I want to mount them up front on/around my leg shield area. Similar to what motorcycles do with crash bars and pegs. Do you think they would work for that? Thanks again, Beale.

Unfortunately, no, they won't work that way. They basically wrap around the base of the seat area, and the footpegs are on raised metal pieces. The way it's made it won't go anywhere but around the base of the seat and it's for the passenger only. Perhaps some other third party makes footpegs for the driver, I have no idea. Maybe someone made some kind of homemade driver footpegs and can shed some light on this???

Happy Scootering,
Sean

Foot Pegs?
LOL, Sean, I am not looking for ape bars or a chopper. At 6'3" with long legs on trips of more than 100 miles? It would be nice to be able to stretch out my legs. Any how it is just the mind wanderings of an old left over hippie, me. By the way I thought the pic was "cool", Beale.
