Modern Vespa

I thought it would be just a matter of time before someone threw on training wheels for their MP3.Here is a pic of an MP3 with the Towpac-MiniTrike set up.

It makes sense to me..The day I get 2 old 2 ride my MP3 and when the thrill is gone..This will keep the thrill going..And all the memory's of all the fun times..You won't see me 8) in one of those little electric scooters..Gee's It's nice to know a nurse

that thing makes me want to buy a Bolero or something and just get old and start collecting buttons.

The mp3 pays such a weight and complexity penalty up front for the ability to lean on two wheels, why incur that cost without getting the benefit?  0.o?!

I read this and said to myself "why?" and then directly below was Chetwynder's response so that makes two of us.

For turning a MP3 in to a trike (or should it be a quad) I can't think of any reason. This is the same for using a MP3 with a sidecar.

The major isue is the use of the two front tires and the way they carf on the street to give you all that extra grip and security. All the benifits are in the way you can lean in to the corners and just have fun

If you turn a scooter in to a trike or use a sidecar you're much better of using a heavier (engine) modern scooter with just one wheel at the front.

My first reaction was also "WHY", my next was "NO WAY, NEVER"

I bet the cost to put those 2 ugly wheels on the back would cost as much as a can-am. So y not just buy a can-am?

Or a Yaris!

Let's not forget the fact that the Can Am has reverse and comes from the factory purposefully built not to fall over!

No it will cost about 2000 for 8 in or 3000 for 12 in and the conversion unit is for the mp3 250 at this time.

ive read up about this unit still trying to get more info on it.

and YES you can drope a MP3 like your backing up and turn the handle bars all the way to the left or all the way to the right. or not being on level ground where one of the front wheels is highter then the other and you use the
tilt lock if the mp3 is not level at 12 noon the mp3 will pull you up into a 12 noon postion this is the only way to drope a mp3 had a MP3 250 for a year

well it will cost about 2000 for the 8 inch wheel type or 3000 for the 12 in whell unit.

as for the MP3 yes you can drop the mp3 there is two ways you can drop
a mp3 you are backing up and turn the handle bars all the way to the left or all the way to the right the tilt will not work the mp3 will start to tipe over

or you stop on unlevel ground and one of the front wheels is higher then the other and you use the tilt lock when you disengage the tilt lock the mp3 will try to place it self in a 12 noon top centre postion the mp3 will pull you and the mp3 into a 12 noon postion you can drop the mp3 at this time so beter off not using tilt lock just put your feet on the ground USe the Tilt Lock for Parking only
