Feels smooth and strong......like they say, the faster you can stop, the faster you can go..... One complaint though.....the caliper fits VERY close to the rim.....like RCH close. I would put it into the 'must have' catagory.... R 8) |

Is there such a thing as too much braking power on a bike? Any danger of locking up the front unintentionally?
I would do this in a second on a car (and have several times), but on a bike I'm still thinking about it... |

I would do this in a second on a car (and have several times), but on a bike I'm still thinking about it... Locking up the front on a scooter would be harder, and I suspect with the stock brakes, almost impossible to do unintentionally. The danger in locking up the front is you have to back off immediately - as soon as you hear the chirp that says the front's locked, you need to get that tire spinning again or you'll be on your butt forthwith. Not so with the rear - you can lock that up and ride it to a stop no problem. (Of course you have less braking when you're locked up than when the wheels are still moving, hence ABS.) The main advantage I'd see to the Brembo kit is if you could do two finger braking that gives you maximum stopping power. But I haven't heard whether this is the case with this kit. |

A request
Nyle,
Are there plans to produce Brembo-kits for the MP3 500's? The front wheels are 12", with 240-mm discs. The rear, 14" with a 280-mm disc. Just slightly different from the GTS's. Thanks! |

When I try to check-out on your website it gives 23$ as sales tax on top of shipping charges but the delivery is to Japan so tax should not be applied
Can you check on this and come back to me ? Thanks |

Strangely enough, after about thirty thousand miles on my two GT 200Ls i've never found the stock brakes to be the least bit inadequate.
