High all. You guys and gals are quicker than I am. If you don't mind I was in Sacramento today and took this shot of an old tag. I just wish I lived closer. I also took a pic for a new tag that I can post but I don't want to go out of turn. Let me know when it would be good for a new tag. Thanks.

I hope to see all you locals at Roseville Vespa on August 2nd! My band will be playing and I will TRY to ride scoot scoot to the event (Tough with all the gear, I've got racks BUT they aren't that strong!)

It's in a park across the street from a really nice spa in downtown Sacramento (it IS considered downtown, right? I can't figure out the Sacramento downtown/midtown/etc boundaries yet). What's going on 8/2? I just had the scoot up there to put on new tires and don't recall seeing anything regarding an event...

We can say it is in "the grid". That sort of encompases everything that has the lettered and numbered streets.

I will also be going to Tahoe so this tag will have to be put off till Monday for me too. Who is going to get it first!!?!!

I have been trying to find it on google maps so i can go there

At A&S they are having a PJ party or something on the 2nd of August?! Interesting. I've been working with Megan in marketing and from the Royal Bastards since we did a show at the Burgundy Tops rally last fall. We've talked about having my band play and the event is FINALLY happening!

As of now I know my band the Street Vendors and my friends band Flounder are playing the parking lot. I was told we'd be playing around noonish and I believe Flounder is to follow after us.

I haven't looked at the first few pages to see the "rules" does it have to be in Sacramento itself or can West Sac/Roseville/Folsom...outlying areas count for this tag? If so GAME ON!!!

If not...it'll be a while before I can get some decent shots in the grid.

I really don't know of any rules per-se since the first tag was down the River Road somewhere and the second one was in Folsom. I don't think there's a need to put geographical boundaries on this outside of "Sacramento Metropolitan Area." Plus the more people that play the more diverse the area covered IMO.

I just don't want to see any pictures with an Arsenal shirt reflecting off the scooter

I'm thinking something in Red might look good, but I'm thinking more Old Trafford than Anfield.

Also, first post. Had to chime in. I'm all over between west sac, the grid, natomas, all the way through to folsom, hope to get in on the tags soon.

The problem with veering too far from downtown is that not enough people are playing to get those that are in the burbs. Example: I live in Land Park and I'll go downtown or *maybe* to arden to get a photo, but going all the way out to, say Folsom on a 40 mile ride one way for a pic ain't gonna happen for me. Now, if there were 30 people playing who lived in a bunch of areas, the tag would eventually get all over the place. But as we have it, with like 5 people playing, a tag too far out will probably get forgotten about.

True - we need a scatter graph of the people in Sac I'm all over town so I'm an exception probably (house=pocket, work=mather, tennis=elk grove, folsom, natomas, fair oaks). Helluva first post there - talkin' trash straight away
