Dam it. I wanted to get in on this lightning round, thought I knew where and what it was, only to find I was totally wrong. I figured out where it was on my way back home so, if its still there tomale I'll get it. I felt like I was racing one of those looking for it.

I won't be over to that part of town until next week.

Pipistrello needs a new back tire so I'm out for awhile till I can figure out when I can get it replaced

...And thanks for your recommendation of the Perellis. With the amount of riding you do you should know. Hey maybe the dealers could give you free tires to test out. 8)

I need to replace my back tire too. I was thinking Zippy- You guys are saying Pirelli?

My Zippy's got about 3200 miles on it right now and there still is lots of tread left - at least 2-3mm above the wear marks, if not more. I'm quite pleased with the longevity, myself.

I don't ride near as much as SIC or Steve, tho. I defer to their experience

Hey Steve - we getting close on a hint. I got the afternoon off and a full tank of gas but have no idea where to hunt.

The original tire only got 4,800 miles and needed to be replaced. The Pirelli has about 6,700! Thats with a lot of hard riding. Its been up to the snow, to Santa Cruz, and Napa..........

Scratch the hint. Found it. Go figure. Some kids were having a charity car wash right there. There must have been 20 kids and on the statues. Didn't feel like explaining scooter tag to them. Will head back later and pick it up

I just put a Michelin city on my LX150, did the work myself... This is my 3rd rear tire on that scoot, and it has been just over a year... 7, 100ish miles I have put on my Darling Plum... 8)
