got mine from the dealer when I bought the bikes. it has the X9 logo on it and it fits pretty good on the wifes 250 with the box on back it has a zipper that will expand to go over the box, my 500 same cover and fits good. forgot to add the windshield area of the cover has an expandeable zipper also so if you install a taller shield it should be no problem

I got a cover at Wal Mart. I always take it with me on over night trips. ( out of site out of mind ) The cover was a X-large and fits snug. It fits over the top case real well. The best part is it was only 20 bucks.

You can zip away the part for the top-case and you can zip open a part for a larger windscreen. It works perfect

I purchased a KwiKover from Laminar, the same folks that make the Laminar Lip.

The cover is mounted to the back of the bike, and stays under the Givi Plate. It takes about two mins to install the cover and about two mins to take it off and put it away. The cover protects the seat from sun and rain, and protects the dash area from the sun as well. It even prevents sun from coming in the front through the wind shield. (there was a warning in the Givi Windscreen instructions about parking where the windshield could 'lens' the sunlight like a magnifying glass)

The side bungies are mounted to plastic hooks I got from West Marine. The hooks are mounted under the passenger foot rests.

Emtwo, I just purchased the KwikCover and wanted to know the part number from West Marine for the hooks. Got it handy?

I found a store near me. Do you remember what they were called? I saw something on their site that was called Bimini Lashing Hooks that kinda sorta look like yours (picture was too dark to really see it well).

Nope, but tell the front guy at the store what you need, and I'm sure they will be able to point you in the right direction.

When i was looking for the hooks on the internet, before going to West Marine at all, I was not having much luck. I knew what I wanted, I just couldn't describe it well enough to get the search engines to produce anything usable.

I have a NelsonRigg cover which I got the dealer to throw in when I bought my mp3. They originally gave me a medium size which is a snug fit but than when I thought it over and realized it would not have any room for saddlebags, larger windshield etc I exchanged it and got an XXL. It covers the bike stock to the ground and all the fender pieces in the front nicely.
