Nice set up. I'm just curious why you didn't use a handle bar mount. There are lots of them available and you have the advantage of being able to use one on a GTV that has an exposed handle bar.

OK. But seriously, a lot motorcyclists who tour have these mounted on the handle bars. Look for a forum frequented by BMW riders, who seem to be users of these things. We GTS owners can't mount anything on the bars.

On a semi related note I just today realized that my wife's LX125 was sold with the RAM mount still attached. Doh. My neighbor sold it for us in Rome and I forgot to mention it to him...and I'm sure he didn't notice it. Gonna be a pain getting back I bet.
