Modern Vespa

Hello, I just purchased a 2006 vespa 200 off of the internet which has a tall piaggio windshield, with the storage compartment on the back. It has 1300 miles, and appears to have been kept in great condition. It was garaged, and overall clean. the license plate has been expired about a year, and was wondering what you would recommended servicing you would do before riding....Just a thorough tuneup? any tips or ideas? It will be arriving on thursday.

I would take it to your closest dealer, have them change the oil and check the tires and cables. Put some fresh gas in her with some SeaFoam and hope the carb isn't too dirty.

maybe I am just retarded, but what is sea foam, and when you say "hopefully the carburateur isnt too dirty" from what I have said, would that be likely?

didn't know if it's been sitting a while, SeaFoam is a fuel additive you can get at auto stores to clean up your carb and other fuel related parts.
