I thought you had replaced the indicators with the daylight lights. I had visions of you fitting external indicators on the front, lol.
I have bought two white led's for my front indicators. They are only 3mm and will be fitted the same as the rear ones. Drill a small 3mm hole, push the led's in and tape over them with aluminium tape, then wire up to side light / dipped headlight. I have bought two spot lights off ebay for £7. I hope they are good ones. They are 2.5" black and led lights (white). Not sure where I will fit them yet. |

Update of the lights on my Vespa. I put the front rack back on and fitted the lights to the sides. They come on when the headlight comes on. I am thinking of fitting some spot lights to come on when main beam is on.

Re: ET2 Top Case Mount
KenFoulks wrote: Hey guys, new owner of a fab 2001 ET4, Doing a partial restoration and I want to use original parts. How does this mount work? Mine is missing the plastic in the middle, what does that do? To install the luggage carrier: Lift up the seat Remove pet carrier Remove gas cap Remove the rear cover #14 http://www.scooterwest.com/items/?_pageCCS=t#page=/items/Seat-Storage-Bucket/850 Mount the luggage carrier with hardware The luggage carrier mounts under the rear cover (will be obvious once cover is removed) One of the screws that is holding down the rear cover is also used in attaching the luggage carrier The plastic piece is just a cover that hides the hardware and allows the luggage carrier to lay flat http://www.scooterwest.com/items/?_pageCCS=t#page=/items/Seat/852 Good Luck

Awesome, thanks for that. What about actually attaching a top-case. Is there anything semi-permanent that attaches to the luggage mount? I plan on just using a duffel bag and bungee cords I think.

2001 ET4 like new
The person who bought this bike in 2001 got very sick shortly after and only rode it for 568 miles. I bought it Sunday December 13, 2015 from the niece of the original buyer for $1200 cash.
So far I have put a battery in the clock and a Buzetti kickstand. The gas gauge was going crazy..up down up down and slowly improved over the course of about a 50 mile ride sunday and seems to be ok now at 701 miles. a bottle of Gumout fuel system cleaner through the carb is making it start to run and idle better.

That scoot looks like new. Great buy. Would have been better to have removed all old fuel and just filled with fresh fuel and oil. Them engines will start after years of standing.

This is a great thread!
I've loved looking through all the posts and pics of ETs. My first scooter was an ET4 125, back in 2001. They will always have a special place in my heart and here is the proof that they look as great now as when they were first launched nearly 20 years ago (and then they were the original retro shooter).
