Just clocked 10,000 km on Scooty McScootface (so named now by my kids Laughing emoticon )
Proud owner of my 2005 et4 since 2011. Got it off a retired airline pilot who bought it as a means of travelling from his house a couple blocks down the road from the golf course...It came pre-dented with 1200 km (maybe a few too many at the 19th hole). He is my daily happy fix year round, rain or shine. Et4 for the win.

et4 pre-leader
my et4 pre-leader
last year: bought it, did a full teardown, repaint, engine overhaul and put it all back, then had a minor fall a week after the first start
this year: added a custom exhaust, a different set mirrors and now have to do the repaint of the damaged parts.

ET with some serious attitude
This little guy has every mod possible for these 2 strokes - another project but am super happy with it now. Malossi inside piston and out with exhaust. Jetted at 85 and 5g rollers with super high tension springs - and it will really fly.

Excited for the weather here to improve so I can get it out more.

2004 ET4 About 30,000 miles. 2nd owner as first owner got scared after 240 miles and it still has her dent. New stock exhaust suspension and carburetter now getting fresh tires. Always ridden WOT 60-62mph (100kph) depending on the headwind Never falters.

ET Cafe Daytona
Here is my ET project, so far. I still have to cut the cushion and sew the upholstery, install some remaining trim and add a graphic. Seatbase is custom - I first shaped it in foam and then layered it in fiberglass. I also welded a hinged frame that it mounts to, so it tilts open like the stocker. I still need to finish renovating the suspension, brake caliper, wheels, etc. I will post more photos as I complete it.

BTW, I'm leaning toward yellow wheels, or at least a yellow front wheel and a black rear wheel. The other option is two black wheels. What do you think will look better?

IMHO, whatever colour you decide, paint both wheels the same.

Myself I would go for black as it looks nice and the yellow will start to look dirty very quickly.

Agreed. Black has emerged as the front runner, as I've had the opportunity to think more deeply about wheels (although I started cutting foam tonight to shape into the cushion).

Thanks for the feedback.

I like the idea of black wheels with the rim/edge the same colour as the scooter. The build looks neat, something that isn't run of the mill.

Thanks. I've posted a few more photos in the Project section, and I will post more as I complete this bike, if you are interested. See ET Transformation - ET Café Daytona.

Hi, and greetings from Finland! Yesterday i bought my first Vespa, a 2004 ET4 125cc from original owner, 22000km on the clock. 6 years ago my father got a '67 SS 180, full restored as his 60th birthday present (added a picture of that too), and i've been riding that from time to time, but now i wanted to get one for me too. First i tried a GTS250, but that felt too bulky yet nervous for me (=wobble). I almost bought an LX, but then i tried ET and it felt roomier, more agile and a bit perkier than the LX did. Not to mention cheaper.. So here we are.

Removed the rack immediately and ordered a PM56 exhaust. I'd really like to do a S or Sprint headlight swap, and change the color to white.

Dejan
