I bought a 6 year old ET4 125 today, I love it! It only has 2,000 miles on the clock.

I always have them powder coated by a specialized company

the last one is my S150 they where painted with a spray by myself

the result is good but maybe it won't stay that way

most of the time I have them painted is when the tyres are worn out

so they have to come off anyway

My ET4 project....bought off Ebay, a bit tatty and a dodgy colour.
A nice pure white re-spray to tidy it up.
Still work in progress, more chrome to add when i get the dosh to spend on it.
Had a ET2 previous to this and enjoyed that....rate the ET4 tho. Great fun.

Hi Gismator

Can I ask where you got those mirrors from? They look so much better than the normal ones.

Bought the rims both completely new in black for 160 Euro in Germany. The transmission cover is painted my myself. Look for the oil gauge !! Better picture will follow.

I bought myself a Vespa mudflap from a guy on eBay and last week I bought a 28 litre topbox, I wasn't going to buy one but my crash helmet doesn't fit under the seat.

I thought the plain chequered looked a bit boring, I wanted something that says Vespa at the back so people behind me know what I'm riding.

I think it looks cracking, Wooly. Bright colours are the way forward - to hell with vain attempts at sophistication. Did I see this on eBay a few weeks back?

Also, am I thinking Days of Thunder for a reason or am I confused?

Aye, Brid, that was it. I remember thinking "my mate's from Brid, he'd come down for a joyride to pick that up..." and then remembering I've got nae money to be blowing on second scoots! Laughing emoticon

Were you the person who wanted to view it on Good Friday? When I bought it they said somebody else was interested but as I'd enquired first they let me see it first.

I recognise your one in your avatar from eBay.

That baby blue ET4 is sure sharp. Is that a custom color or standard issue from Piaggio?
