I had a little accident the other week, where the right side has bare metal showing so want to cover that!! Is that Halfords d.i.y. paint pen any good? thanks thanks I've sold that beauty now! It actually wasn't a beauty when I sold it for parts though (first bad accident which severely dented the right side panel) I've got a cream ET4 125 on a Leader Engine. Flick through the pages and you'll see it. =) In regards to your bodywork, its better to get it professionally fixed (just my thought). Try not to use pen if you know its not a simple pen job, otherwise it will most likely show the scratches even more if u use some sort of budget paint pen. if you give these guys a call - The London Scooter Body Shop - 0207 226 3238 They are based around Highbury & Islington they should be able to help you. Heres their website. http://www.thelondonscooterbodyshop.co.uk/contact.html show us some pictures dude! |

I posted this in another topic but that'll drop off the radar after a few days so I thought I'd post it in here too. Here's my ET4 125 with a Tucano Urbano leg cover (apron) fitted....

That's nice. Is the whole thing a custom paint job or was it originally white?
EDIT: Just seen your other topic. |

Newbie
Hi there,
Just got my very first Vespa (ET2 50cc). First registered in 2001 and in need of some TLC. It runs fine but I might do some work to it (e.g. new seat or seat cover). This forum looks great and I'm looking forward to read through the threads. May I present to you... Dolly:

See I think the chrome LX-style mirrors actually throw the lines of the ET off. The plastic mirrors may be plastic, but they help the ET look like an unbroken set of lines and more like its namesake "wasp" (Vespa). To me, the stock ET looks very Jetsons and 60s. I like that. A really unique step in the vespa aesthetic, while more recent models attempt to look more vintage but fail for countless reasons.

Here's mine!
Bought it off a guy who had been in a wreck hence all the scrapes on the side but I'm slowly working on getting it pretty again. Just recently put the whitewalls on and powder coated the wheels
