Please excuse the newbie question but I'd like some advice!

My lovely boyfriend has insured me on his PX, but as I've never been on anything other than my push-bike, and don't want to learn on his pride and joy I've arranged a first lesson for next week.

They provide the gear and a 125cc bike, so I just have to turn up. I'm not sure what to expect, does anyone have any tips in advance? They'd be much appreciated..

Good for you Sarah- you'll feel much more confident with lessons. Only advice is to dress properly and relax. Look ahead to where you want to go and not down at the bike. If you can get a copy of "Proficient Motorcycling" it's a good read and will help with what you learn.

Top of the list- have fun (and warn your boyfriend that once you feel comfortable he will never see his scoot again!)
