Modern Vespa

hi all.just joined.
I have a problem with my et4, which has begun to leak oil, from what appears to be the oil filter. (i didnt know that it was the oil filter, somebody told me it was).
I dont know much about scooters or anything mechanical.
Was wondering how easy it would be to repair?
The mechanic also said it could be coming from one of the main seals, which i know would be a big job, but to be it looks like the filter.
If i changed the filter, would that rectify the problem?
How do i get it out?
It looks like it screws out, but i tried tightening it, and couldnt turn it with what i had.
any suggestions? [/b]

I use a shallow 24mm socket for drain bolt and if the filter is the slotted end one you can use a 6mm allen key held in the grove

cheers, i did try and tighten it with an allen key.
didnt try looseing it though.
