I tried searching but a while back somebody posted a pic of this little cover they used at work so the scoot wasn't out in the sun as much. I am looking for something like this or just may resort to a cheap motorcycle cover cause heavens knows I am not letting my vespa gt cover sit out in the sun every day either.

I have a $20 Walmart cover that is okay but not waterproof that I used at first and on trips because it packs into a smaller footprint, but the GT cover, reduced to $50 from $100, at Motorsport Scooters is what I use now and it is excellent. It is a bit hard to put on but it fits like a glove and it is waterproof.

Good Luck

I have a spandex cover for my black bike.

When installed it looks like a tent rainfly.

It hooks to the body, and works really well keeping the bike cool.

I can look up the manufacturer later - it was stupid expensive (for what it is) if memory serves.

I may put it on the scoot and take some photos later.

This got me thinking. My GT bakes in the sun at work during the day. Sometimes the seat is so hot it hurts to sit on it. I could really use a sun/rain cover that is faster to put on than my big, cover-every-inch cover at home.

Here's a possible inexpensive solution ($24 for size medium):

And another, pricier one (starts @ $75):
