Take a look at http://www.tuvie.com/cargo-scooter-concept-by-elliot-ortiz

Sometimes I loose the thread between art and reality.

I could totally go for that in a 250-300cc version.

You could also just use that space for a 350 c.i. chevy smallblock.
Or possibly two cheesewheels and a 5 gallon bucket of spackle. Just think of the possibilities!

Cute idea. But technically it's not a scooter since it doesn't have a step-thru frame. And no place for the gas tank! But I like the way it looks...

I wonder if Aprilia actually produces these cargo bikes now or if this one is just a concept for now?

Neat never the less....

uhm... yeah... it would be a nice wheelie machine, especially unloaded. All that weight in the back makes for a real dangerous ride. I love how designers have no practical experience in the things they are designing.

maybe there's some sort of concealed ballast in the front like lead forks or a big lump of concrete

Gas tank must be up front. So you'd only do a wheelie when you're low on gas. Which is probably why there's no gas gauge!

Ugh. The day riding my scooter involves doing laundry, that's the day I lose interest in riding.

Powered by Hamster or what? Looks like there is zero provision for a realistic engine of any sort let alone battery/gas/cupcake-in-the-sky.

Interesting design though.

I'll tell ya tossing the 50lb bag on the scooter to go the Laundromat beats walking it 10 blocks any day. I know from experience. Razz emoticon

I'm sure few will agree with me, but I kinda like the utilitarian appeal of this Yamaha C3.

Yamaha C3:

I have seen a few of these around however didn't know that it was a 4-stroke or a yamaha.

I am doubtful that it could carry my 6'3" 230lb frame.

At $1,999, I could see this being a great option for many.

I dig it.

Well considering the fact that they are coming out with a 125 cc fuel injected Zuma, they should be able to do a 125 cc version of the C3. I guess it will depend on how well the C3 50 cc is doing.

Hopefully it won't take up cargo space.
