Took a long ride on Saturday, stopped and started without problems. Today I tried to start scooter and all was dead.

Totally dead, or will not start?

There has been a spate of new delivered MP3s with the two big butch cables to the starter relay put on the wrong terminals - this blows the fuse from the regulator and ensures that battery isn't charged - very cunning.

Check the fuse on the starter relay - if it is blown then the above is the probable problem. Swap the cables, re-charge the battery, replace the fuse with the spare provided (and get another 30A spare) and off you go...

Or it could be something else, you are very terse with the description of symptoms.

Did you leave the trunk/boot open? If so the little courtesy light will be kept on and that will drain the battery. Happened to me.

No, I did not leave boot open.

I tried to charge it with my battery tender, but there is no volts left so I am unable to charge it. Will bring it to a scooter store. Maybe they can get a little bit of juice in there so I can then use my charger.

Did I get a lemon? What's with the fuse and relay breaking on a new scoooter???

This doesn't sound like the "mixed wire" issue, as those bikes generally die within 20 miles of being purchased. It does sound like a current drain killed the battery. I would connect the battery to a car battery via jumper cables for 30-45 mins, disconnect the cables, start the bike, and take it to the dealer.
