I'm getting 75 MGP on my LXV150 but I'm still under six hundred miles so I expect this to improve slightly after breakin is complete.

250 MP3 with 1200 miles on it, I get a constant 65 MPG. But I use premium gas with no ethanol.

67 mpg on my first full tank on my S 150. All in town with mixed speeds below 50 mph and lots of stoplights.

I'm feeling short-changed. So far, I'm only getting around 58-59 mpg. Granted, I'm just under 200 miles on the scooter, but I wouldn't expect the gas mileage to jump considerably after the break-in period. My driving is strictly in the city, going 30-40 mph tops with traffic, and several stop signs or traffic signals on each trip.

Interesting timing on this question!
I only have 476 miles on my 2008 GTS 250. I just figured my mileage yesterday when I filled up and I am currently getting 64 mpg with lots of stop and go city riding - usually between 35 and 40 mph. I am a bigger size guy (it is tough to be this good looking, old and a big guy too you know ) which will have some affect on mileage too. I hope it gets a bit higher.

I got 60.16 mpg on my last tank judging by today's fill up. GTS250, JCosta variator, LV exhaust, Motorsport Powerbooster, 230lb rider. I don't find my mileage changes much whether I'm driving in the city or on the highway. When the GTS was stock I was averaging 64.5 mpg.

2006 GT200 with Leo Vince xhaust. I drive real fast and hard and weigh 190. I have a top case, but no windshield. It's seriously windy here for 1/2 (afternoon) of all my miles.
I keep a spreadsheet with all data and have a lifetime ave of 59.3 Miles per gallon. 3500 miles total so far. I typically drive at 65 or 70 mph. I use Chevron Premium and keep tires at 32 psi. Z |

Of course as someone pointed out there are differences between Uk and USallons i.e 1MPG US =1.2Uk or !Km/Litre =2.82MPG UK. Just discovered that the US has dry gallons as well as liquid ones!! Where do you buy dry petrol?? Graham

Mileage
My new GT 200 seems to be running just a tad under 70 miles per $4.32 gallon. I'm hoping it'll top 70 mpg once it's broken in a bit and I get over the rush of blowing off the four-wheelers at every green light.
The Imperial gallon used to confuse these conversations. It was the equivalent of 1.2 US gallons. We used to think the English got fantastic mileage. Doh! There used to be different gallon measures depending on what was in the jug. There was a corn gallon, which was about 4.4 liters; the wine gallon, or "Queen Anne's gallon", which was only 3.8 liters; and the ale gallon, which measured 4.62 liters. Easy to see what ye olde weights and measures guys used to drink. |

70 - 75 mpg on an LX150 (or 32 km per liter or 6,485 furlongs per firkin). I rarely get over 50mph on my Vespa and tend to not gun the engine.
BTW in Google you can type in "X miles per gallon in furlongs per firkin" and it figures it out for you. |

John Potter wrote: Consistent 50 mpg with 2007 GT200. But I just recently checked the mileage on my 2007 GT200 and it figured out to an honest 66.5 MPG's! (And the scoot's only got 850 miles on it. Supposedly it will do better after it breaks in more...) Could this discrepancy simply be because I ride moderately on the throttle, and perhaps these others do not? I also use a medium height windshield, no topbox, and weigh 225 lbs.. 8) |
