Not sure how long the Michelin Pilot City will last, but the Dual Sport look is beefy.

The last rear tire cost me almost 300 bucks to replace at the dealer.
Haven't been there since.

The local MC Tire Company matches net prices so the total tire, mount, & balance cost around $70. I did the R&R myself. No problems.

I noticed you have a 250, what was originally on it?
I have the 400 and its a 14" not a 12 so I was wondering how else they differ in size.
That looks sweet by the way, silly question but the mp3 is a unique machine so....do you find any differences in the corners?

The OG rear tire was a 130/70-12.

I haven't scrubbed the tire yet so I don't know how it will respond in the corners.
Otherwise, compared to my Guzzi's (GREAT in corners) the MP3 is amazing.
I've hit sand in blind turns and had the back wheel slide out a bit and the front wheels just grab the road.

I bought the MP3 last April and I have no regrets.
The 250cc is fine and there is no better round the town ride.

I thought I'd want to up-size but I'm holding out for a Aprilia Mana 850 for the step up ride for the wife.
I'm thinking I'll keep the MP3. Just too cool.

Nice pics!
I like those mirrors! they look like they would solve my problem of staring at my shoulders all the time. I really dislike the factory ones and no matter how I adjust them I see half my shoulders and very little road.
They were actually coming off next week and going to get bent for me by a local shop.
Im really curious about how you fare with the new tire!
theres lots of sand on the roads around here and I find my back end sliding often I've been thinking of changing out the back but I havent decided what to yet.

Thanks, I picked up the mirrors at the local Cycle Gear.

I think it's called a wrist saver or a throttle locker.
You can spin it in place and use it like a cheap cruise control.
