Just got back from a Fourth of July morning ascent of Mt. Hamilton on my bicycle and was pleasantly surprised to find that they are continuing the resurfacing of Mt. Hamilton Road further up.

Last year they got about the first mile or two done and now it's smooth and perfect almost all the way to Grant Ranch!

Still a bit of gravel here and there in the usual corners where it always accumulates, but man it was sublime. Should be a welcome improvement for the Three Peakers. Hopefully they'll redo the section between Grant Ranch and Twin Gates soon...it's very pocked up and seemingly getting worse.

Now it's off to decorate the scoot for the Naglee Park Fourth of July Parade along with BobRK, KurlGirl and others...Happy Fourth Bay Area Peeps!

Good to know...

As a side note, I just got back from the Rose, White, & Blue (Rose Garden) Parade, and there was not a single Vespa to be seen! WTH?
