Modern Vespa

Where did your Vespa spend the hoiiday? Mine is still aboard ship cruising the Atlantic on its way over here.

In the %^&* repair shop.

In the -------- repair shop waiting for warranty repair! And she's not happy about it either!

Mine's at the shop too. (Sportique) I'm getting the 70cc kit installed. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

In the local parade! A small group of us rode in the parade representing PoC. It was a beautiful day and the ride was fun. I just wish I'd have thought to bring a real camera with me, but my wife was able to snap a couple from the crowd. I know a couple others got some great shots of the event.

I'm assuming mine is probably still in Italy somewhere, if it's even been produced yet.

Mine spent most of the day parked in the garage and the remainder of the time parked at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went for a ride from San Diego to a mountain town called Idyllwild with a few others. About 120 miles of curvy, hilly, long and lonely state roads. Check out the pictures here:

At my local airport (BDU) while I worked giving glider rides for the local air-tour business.

I saw two F-15s fly by in formation and later we had a P-51 do a fly by. I suppose that they were on the way to or from some event.

It was a fun day and then I got to ride my scooter home!

In bits

It's been rainy and overcast all day (week/month ).

But a new cycle supply shop had a grand opening about 45 minutes away so I took a nice scenic ride there and picked up a new cover on sale for $14.95. The old one was held together by duct tape and was pretty leaky.

While I was there, I picked up some Anti-Monkey Butt powder in anticipation of long hours in the saddle to Deals Gap and Amerivespa. I apologize for having mentioned that.

ET is now in the back yard sleeping through the fireworks in its new pajamas.

She's sitting at home waiting for me to return.

In the garage. It's been raining on and off all day. We went to a party and we had to bring items so, the car was our transportation for the day. Tomorrow is to be better!

At the beach!! Even though it was pretty crowded, the waves were sick!!

Riding the Bolinas-Fairfax road on Mt. Tamalpais, and waiting patiently while my wife and I got back from our hike in the woods.

And later getting ogled by passers-by in Fairfax. It had a very good day, my scoot.

All my scooters sat. Two at my workshop in pieces, two on the street, collecting dust.

She spent the day in the garage, but I did open the door so she could look out side and watch the rain.

Garage for all of mine as we were out on the boat trying not top get run over by 8 year olds on jetskis.

Riding all over the city doing errands in prep for the upcoming rally.

In the morning we went grocery shopping. In the afternoon Buzzy, my ET4, came inside the house for some additions. He now has an Autocom, Zumo 450 GPS, Motorola bike-to-bike radio, and front rack. I'm ready for Amerivespa!

After riding around the neighborhood for about an hour for my daily prctice session, she spent her day in my shed... As an inexperienced driver, there was no way I was riding her to my friend's house and then having to drive her back home in the dark while navigating around drunk people and people lighting off fireworks in the middle of the street. My friend lives about a mile away and it's all residential roads, but I wasn't taking any chances...

Between my legs for a good chunk of the day! Had to leave it on the street for the bbq and fireworks - I'm jealous of Napa!

+1! Bad rear bearings and axle! 'not going to be out till late next week!

In the garage. rode the Harley to work. You know the Harley does not get the mpg the Vespa gets.
