Took my brand new yellow 2007 GTS250 out for its first ride. Anyone want a slightly used 2007 Buddy 125 Series Italia?

Our scooter went shopping to buy things for it's human parents. We were so thankful we washed and cleaned her so she shines. It was a family day.

Family day for me too. My GT 200 spent the day in the garage. We went to see my sister and her family for bbq, then to see minor league baseball and fireworks. A good time was had by all.

LastBestPlace
Last night on a grassy knoll with my daughter watching fireworks.
Today another 100 miler around the Gallatin Valley. Funny thing-we ended up in a nearby small town where the local Harley dealership was having a HUGE party: http://www.yellowstoneharley.com/ We hung out-listened to music and were welcomed with open arms. Food (roast whole pig-not for the faint of heart, nor my vegetarian child) drink, etc. Here's a link to today's photos-mostly me and my daughter (yawn). Some pretty and oddball shots of the LastBestPlace. http://photobucket.com/lastbestwoman |

In Philly at the Independence Day Rally #8
Hey All,
Over a hundred scoots spent the 4th at the Philadelphia Independence Day Rally. Here is me on my friend Ginger's Vespa in front of my place for the first evening meet, greet and eat party. The rest of the weekend was awesome, too. ALso in the pic is MP3-500 owner, Scott G. Curt

Mine spent the evening with me, trolling for open restaurants after 7p and sneaking the ideal spot along Skyline Blvd. with bigger motos. Had a nice view of the fog in SF, the East Bay's works going off IN the clouds, and clear skies between San Mateo to Great America.
Though riding Skyline and Hwy 9 is a completely different experience in itself, in the dark. |

where did mine spend the 4th?
Unfortunately - mine spent it in the garage - 'prolly STRAINING to see the fireworks.
- I got talked into leaving her at home and heading on over to the beach in a cage, because of the inordinate amount of drunk drivers on this particular holiday. SEVERAL times as we CREPT along the 3-mile bridge - on the way home - I sighed - "if we were on our scooters - we'd be home by now." NEXT year - Miss Lou Ann is going to the beach to see the fireworks!! dg |

My GTS250 went on a nice little 2 hour mountain ride the gt200 around Smyrna, and the Stella went for a 1 hour ride to Douglasville.

Took the scenic route from NYC to Phillly with a few friends and enjoyed myself at the ID8 rally.

Where did your Vespa spend the 4th
In my garage - being looked at, shined up, and generally thinking how cool it is - I would have been actually riding it over the weekend, but I have to wait until Monday (today!) to get the insurance set up.

We rode our scooters in the neighborhood parade! Dongoose was one of the 5 scooters in our posse, and I know he's got pictures. I'll have to post mine later today. I think we were quite well received. It was fun to honk continuously for 20 minutes. And my cooling fan went on for the first time that I can remember.

Strapped on my Sunday golf bag and rode the scooter over to the golf course to play 9 holes and, in the evening, my wife and I rode two-up to witness the fireworks over Maunalua Bay off Hawaii Kai.
After the show, we were out of there in 5 minutes. No law against splitting lanes in the parking lot, is there?
