I'm a brand-spankin new owner of a brand-spankin new Vespa S, and I am trying to figure out how to haul around my gear. My full-face Shoei helmet is big! I would love not to have to carry it when I am not on the scooter. Do helmets fit into the OEM Top Case?

Thanks.

There should be a little hook by the hinge under the seat on the right hand side that you can hook the D ring on the helmet to and lock it on the bike when you latch the seat. That should secure it. If you want it out of site then a large enough top case or carrying it with you is probably the only other solution. Enjoy your "S"

I don't have a D-ring so I put my full face in my Givi E350 case. Plenty of room in there.

If you don't have a "D" ring on your helmet I think you can still lock the strap under the seat by just hanging whatever latch you have on the end of the chin strap under the seat and closing the seat. The latch will probably be too bulky to be pulled out from under the seat when it is closed.

My XXS and XS fullface helmets do not fit in the Vespa topcase, but do fit in the GIVI topcases.

My FF Scorpion just barely fits in the Vespa topcase. If your helmet is an XL (like mine) or bigger...you may want to take it to your dealer and try for fit first. You may need a bigger topcase.
