This will probably not mean too much for many on this forum, but I just had to tell someone.
In Brisbane, Me and my wife rode out with the Merlo Red Ride for Life campaign on Saturday. Merlo is a coffee roaster who sponsored the coffee and sausage sizzle.
The campaign united riders to donate blood for Australian Red Cross Blood Service.
It wasn't raining when we left and we both thought "naaaah - it won't rain. It just looks a bit overcast". Needless to say, it teemed down for the whole ride and for the rest of the day. We arrived at the donor centre bedraggled and cold.
The local news (channel 9) was at the donor centre when the bikes started to roll in and we got about 3-4 seconds of my black MP3, full frame! We're both stoked!!!!
I"m trying to work out how to convert DVR-MS to MPEG now so I can post the news snippet up somewhere for you all to look at.
Last year, it was only me on my Vespa ET4 150cc scoot, WOT all the way down the highway to the donor centre but this year, there was one other scooterist. He was 2-up with his partner. And what was he riding? A Vespa PX200!
