Hello All,

I was wondering if someone could help direct me. I was riding my Vespa to work today (250 miles on odo) and the back end started to almost fishtail out...it took me just a bit to get it under control, but it almost felt as if I had a flat tire in the back. The pickup was relatively sluggish and I was getting the movement to left and right.

I checked the back tires and tire pressure is sound so that's not the issue. I need to check the underseat storage because I repositioned the security chains etc which may shift etc...when I turn adding more momentum weight.

I was wondering if anyone else had experienced the same problems.

Thanks,

Is it possible that the two rear shocks are on different settings?

I had that happen to me once - pulling out of a parking lot, 90 degree turn to the left, and I leaned a bit too far at low speed and slid the rear out a bit under acceleration.

If it's doing it consistently, get your bike back to the dealer and have them check it out. Something's amiss.
