Ok, so I know this is a little boring compared to a lot of the beautiful scoots I see on here, but I gave her a bath a few weeks ago and snapped a few shots with my cell phone. I do love the Midnight Blue with the tan seat.

This is my 100% stock '06 LX50. The only mods done to date are removing the warning stickers and attaching the battery tender pigtail thing. It's currently in the shop getting a 70cc kit installed. After that I plan on adding the short Vespa flyscreen and a folding rear rack. Got a bunch of other mods planned for after that - crash bars, stripes, and about 10 other ideas you guys have given me.

Welcome and good working on removing your stickers so quickly. Question...I never understood why people by 50cc scoots and then beef them up. Wouldn't it make more sense to by a 150 and keep your warranty??? I can't imagine the kit and shop time to be that much less than just paying for the bigger bike.

For day to day scootering here if it is a beafed up 50cc vs 150 the city taxes are very diffrent as in $100's. Also 50 are fun it is my comuter.

Yeah, we didn't know what the hell we were doing when we bought it two years ago. We were sold by not needing a m/c license and being able to park it on the sidewalk. My wife was working downtown at the time. I wish we would've gone with a bigger bike. But, we're attached to it now, and we decided to just throw a kit on it instead of selling it and buying something else. When I buy something else we'll keep it and ride both.

right on, I can appreciate that answer...I went from a 50...to an 80....to a 150....not to a 200 and have my eyes on the new 300 super.
