Sorry DenverScooterLawer not enough room I must of used too many ? 's .
But seriously, I got my GT used a few weeks ago, there is a nylon cover attached to the underside of the seat. How do I use it? Does it cover the seat and rearward? Am I really supposed to close the seat on it? I did not see it in the manual.
A picture of the correct application would be appreciated.

No picture, but yes - you cover the seat with it. And yes, you close the seat over it.

Hmmm now I'm not sure if you're being serious about your question or not. In case you are, you pull the nylon shower cap for the seat forward and then over and onto the seat. As such, it covers the seat and keeps it free of bird droppings and stuff while you're away from your scooter.

I think the bird poop has to hit you for it to be good luck. After my final exam in medical school we were sitting having ice cream on the lawn of the Royal Ontario Museum. While I was eating ice cream a bird pooped on me. Gross but I did pass.

Haha ... genie, that made me laugh out loud. I've had a bird crap on me twice in my life .... once on the first date with a guy, and the second time on the day we split up (which I should have done on that first date). Once for bad luck, twice for good!

Thanks for the replies.
I was serious about the post... But, I just had to do it that way.
To me it seems kind of odd to have to close the seat on the cover. Not to mention, its easy to be confused on what side is in and what side is out. Being used I would say the dirty side is out.
I guess its so big to cover a top case.

Sorry we got distracted from your question with the discussion of bird poop. The bag is a "shower cap" for the seat. I enjoyed your poke at the denverscooterlawyer. He had it coming.

Passed on eating the "shat on" ice cream? Or passed the exam?

You must know now that since you posted the question, you must now post a photo of yourself with the seatcover over your head. Really. It's a rite of initiation here.

I just pull it all the way out from it's little cubby hole, kind of pull it forward and under the front end of the seat, close the seat and finish stretching it around the front and all the way to the back, like a, yeah, showercap! The thing is really sort of huge on my GTS. Purty simple; you probably can't cock it up too badly.

An aside:
It would be fun to see if Pirate Upholstery would do a custom design on the rain cover (I know they do custom colors, but would they sew a design into it? Hmmm! I'm sure if one were willing to pay for it...)
