Is that product the same as what is applied to truck beds? If so, is it permanent?

I have Line-X in my truck and after 2 years, it looks like new. Well worth the cost. The Vespa looks great with it.

I'd like to see how it holds up to chipping etc. But the way I throw crap on my floor boards, this sucker makes alot of sense. Personally, I'm trying to figure out a way to level out the hump in the middle too...thinking of putting diamond tread down on the left and right side with spacers. I like flat floorboards so I can throw down my bags and not have to depend on the hook keeping things steady.

I think you'll need to yank those runners off for some maintenance / mods. If you ever decide to run wiring or something you might find the need to slice those runners out.

Line-X and other bedliners have been a popular mod on the Jeep Wrangler forum I am on for many years. How devious to apply it to scoots... Wheels are turning. Nicely done.

Great idea!

I have it in my 8 yr old truck, and it still looks like new.

In the truck, there were a couple of rubber plugs that they popped out, sprayed, and then put back in.

I wonder if you could do that for the rubber stripes?

I am researching diamond plate floorboards right now, but this seems like a really great idea. Did you just drop your scooter off and they sprayed it down and you picked it up? Is it really that easy? I'd like to take off my rubber mats and possibly remove my glovebox (because I don't like the way it looks, however useful it is), but then there will be lots of exposed holes. I wonder how they could go about filling the holes so it looks a little bit more polished.

Any info is appreciated!
