Howdy,
I'm trying to find a LX 150 in Sky Blue. One dealer told me VESPA doesn't make them in that color anymore? Anyone aware of this? The VESPA USA sight showed the color????

Help, thanks!

I can't say what's coming off of the assembly line this week in Italy, but I can tell you that I visit my Vespa dealer nearly every week, and I haven't seen a Sky Blue in a long time... It's a gorgeous color, though, and I would not hesitate to buy one if I were 1) looking, and 2) could find one. It's one that will age very, very well.

I saw one in Atlanta last weekend. It's almost as pretty as the 06 Aurora blue.

it's called Azzoro Blue, I believe it was a limited color, no longer available from what I know.

I saw a sky blue LX150 for sale at Cycle City in Honolulu yesterday, 7/8/08. It wasn't there three weeks ago when I bought my daring plum GT 200.

My 07 LX150 is sky/aozora blue. From what I understand, they are no longer produced and hard to come by. Mine was the dealer demo model and they wanted to start having people test drive an 08 instead.

For whatever reason, Piaggio changed from the "cielo" sky blue used on the ET4, to the more metallic "azzoro" blue used on the LX. Not surprisingly, I like the Cielo paint a bit better, although both colors look pretty good. I've only seen a few other cielo ET4s.

Actually, the 2006 light blue is called "Aurora", only around for a little while.

I think the 06 Aurora is actually different from the 07 Sky. Is the paint name printed on the bike somewhere?

Here's what I turned up for Aurora:

Totally different colors.

Under the seat, take out the pet carrier, there should be a sticker on the frame with the paint color on it.
