Anybody use a hydraulic lift for maintenance? If so, what brand is good?

I love the $300.00 one from Harbor Freight. I use it like crazy.

I use my Harbor Freight lift all the time to. It is outside on my patio, the paint has faded a little, but works flawlessly everytime I use it. They also have a removable panel to make it easier to change tires and makes it very easy to remove the front fork on the Vespa to.

Sears offers up three, the regular M/C ATV jack around $110 (I've read it is not so sturdy, and the seals in pump are not so good), but their Craftsman Professional 1500 lb. jack gets good reviews for around $200. They also have another brand, OTC for around $145. Sorry I can't offer personal experience, but you should be able to find reviews on each as I did.

My budget favors the Professional, and I definitely don't want something flimsy, or not able to hold pressure. Just some ideas as you're looking.

Turkman, I noticed you aren't using the front vice. Does it not fit the scooter?

That one is fine for most scooters (it even copes with an X9, with an inch to spare at the back EEK!) - but will not cope with MP3s or any larger bikes. I have one, it is redundant. I now use a larger version, it was GBP325 IIRC, no link, sorry.
