Okay...girl question.....

When my scoot was on the stand tonight and I was cleaning the rear rim, when I spin the wheel, I hear something dragging....like a brake pad? Is this normal? The brakes are working well.

Its a 2005 200L Grantourismo....has just under 2500 miles on it.
(And I freakin' love it... )

Thanks for your help!

Yep...brakes have no mechanism spreading them out, so they'll drag slightly. Just make sure the wheel rotates freely when you attempt to rotate it.

I have the same "problem" on my 2005 GT200 with 10,000 miles. When I had new brake pads put on, that's when I noticed the dragging. It still turns freely; it just kind of slows down in one place. No noise, though.

Excellent. I was wondering the same thing. I was 99% certain there wasn't a problem, but I am glad to see it confirmed.

I had that on my rear wheel as well, it is just the brake pads.

I have that problem too.
I notice it after long rides...
I always thought my hamster was tired...
