2008 GTS, delivered Tuesday afternoon @ 3 miles, now at 240 miles. Piaggo flyscreen, no topcase. I weigh about 220 lbs.

Daily trip is about 1/2 rural roads @ 50-55 mph, the rest split 2/3 highway at 60 (keeping it down due to break-in, although some bursts to get away from cagers) and 1/3 rush hour stop and go.

first tank: 76.53mpg.

second tank: 78.58mpg.

Much better than expected on a tight engine. I am driving a bit conservatively for break-in, but still pretty good.

Very happy with the performance, handling and comfort of this bike--I am coming from a 1984 BMW R80 and I'm enjoying this much more.

P.

Consistent with my experience as well. 2007 GTS, 2000 miles on the clock, 180 lbs, best was 79 and worst was 75.

Not quite there
Well, I guess I have a way to go. Last time I filled up, 210 miles, 72 mpg. That is with Vespa fly shield and top case... maybe that makes the difference. Oh and 180lbs, sometimes 300, but not that often! Wife is not to happy riding along unfortunately.

That sounds good. I get about 65-66 all the time. I live in town and spend a ton of time at lights. I work about a mile from my house so I spend about the same amount of time parking as I do driving.

That still seems good, though, for a 250cc vehicle. Especially when I think about my Mercury Grand Marquis... Crying or Very sad emoticon Crying or Very sad emoticon Crying or Very sad emoticon

I'm getting roughly the same on a 2008 GTV (a little over 75 MPG). Most riding is 35-45 MPH residential with some open road 55 MPH spells (but not a lot). It sure is a hell of a lot more fun than driving!

Nice mileage report. I really need to figure mine out and stop this 'guess-timating' that I do. I do know that it's better than what I'm getting in the Jeep.
