Modern Vespa

Decided to see what my gas mileage was after owning the scooter for about 1 year. 1242 miles on the odometer, and had the 625 mile check-up.

My mileage: 65 mpg.

How do others compare?

65-70 mpg @ 600 mi. I really think it depends upon how I drive it, but that's current avg.

I have close to 150 miles on my new Fly and haven't checked the gas mileage yet. I know it was lousy on the first tank of gas and the dealer told me to expect that. I assume it improves as the scoot breaks in? I'd be interesting in hearing any other owners' experiences.

I love the Fly, by the way, very solid and rides like a dream.

I have 1500 miles on my fly and I get just under 60mpg. I'm a little heavy and there are lots of hill around here so I'm sure that makes a big difference.

My 2008 Fly 150 has given me an 84.2 MPG average on its first two tanks of gas. I did a first fill-up after 110 miles two weeks ago. Speedo is now at 321, with almost a 1/2 tank left on the gauge. Driving habits are usually averaging 40 - 45 MPH on 2-lane rural roads; have driven it 50 - 60 MPH on only two instances, since it still has a way to go for full break-in.
