When I parked my Vespa, this chick came out and asked if I would take her picture on it. I asked her where her camera was. She wanted me to take it with MY camera and send her the photo. I saw that she had all her teeth, so I figured she wasn't a meth head and let her on. After I took her picture, I asked for her email address. She said she didn't have one, but wanted me to physically send the photo to the main office at the hotel. While my family was still home asleep, I was having one surreal morning.

Loving this pic! I've come out a few times to catch people taking pictures sitting on my scooter, I don't generally mind because they're not causing it any harm but now if I have time I try to tuck the bike somewhere out of the way.

Hilarious. I didn't think the Pink Motel was open as a motel these days; I thought it's mostly used as a shoot location.

From all the stuff cluttered about, I gathered the Pink is for long term residents who pay by the month / year. I loved the old diner next door.

Hi RobynS, I realized nobody responded to your question. We have taggers from the LBC that play here in LA tag, but I don't think many things get tagged in the LBC. But maybe there are enough taggers to start an LBC scooter tag game?

Good Tag! I had been chomping at the bit for days to have a day off to get up to LA..... I helped to build the subway system, and my office used to be right where thats structure now sits. I didn't see this tag last night when I looked, so here I sit at the crack of dawn ready to head up to LA to get it!
Curses! Foiled again! Another weekend I can't play Tag! Grrrrr....
I guess I'm gonna have to start my own Southbay/Long Beach area Tag if I want to get in on this!

Pace Restaurant right down the street from me in Laurel Canyon! They have some of the best pizza. Nice place for a romantic dinner too.

Pace (pronounced pach-ay) is actually Italian for Peace.

I just happened to drive by it at around midnight Friday night on my way back from a concert. Thought it was a cool looking sign. I probably never would have noticed it during the day.

Oh! Bunny got snaked! He dropped the bike off at the shop today and mentioned he got the Byzantine tag last night.

Sorry Bunny! Usually I miss them because I work on Saturdays... so I know how it feels! I'm just glad that my getting up early wasn't in vain this week, like it was 2 weeks ago (when someone had beat me to the tag).
