Excellent shot tony. I love it when people look at me funny while I'm taking a shot of my scoot at some interesting location. It sparks a conversation about scooter tag -- which they all think is a hoot, too.

Please don't get run over by a bus when snappin' photo. NB: I browsed all 33 pages of LA tag & noticed this part of the city has yet to be tagged.

That's not how the game is played: you don't like the tag, so you hijack it for your own purposes?.... doesn't seem very friendly.

If it were my vote, I would invite Jose to go get the original tag and THEN post his wall.
Anyone else want to weigh in? If I was in town, I would run up to LA to Immediately tag the original Landmark which is easy to find!

I believe it was once the case that a tag could be hijacked if it had not been tagged after a certain amount of time.

EDITED TO ADD (from first post in this thread): We may want to extend that as activity has dropped off. Maybe we need to promote tag a little more.

As for "Exit Through the Gift Shop," it's a good clue! Google it. It's been in the news this week!

Oof, okay, the 48 hr. hijack rule is only if someone hits a tag and doesn't post a new one within that time.

I'm sort of shocked things are at such a lull that no one has hit the previous tag! Centrally-located. Easy to find... Not going to get any easier.

I really don't understand complaining about not knowing what something is in reference to, when it literally takes 0.21 seconds to click google. You've already done the hard part and dialed on to AOL.

Okeh, okeh... Putting on my Moderator hat for a moment here, let's all stop going after one another here. Tag is good. Tag should not get ugly. Name calling isn't acceptable at all. (Moderator hat coming off now...)

We need to be recruiting and encouraging new taggers. One of the reasons tags are sitting for so long is probably that many who participated in the beginning no longer are and we need more participants.

If a new tagger errs, re-posts a tag (which I have done) or otherwise transgresses, it's probably because this has been going on for so long and the groundrules seem to have eroded or just aren't working with the current level of participation.

I think we should review the rules and discuss whether they should be modified.

Finally! Time to get this game moving.

Whew. Tag crisis averted. I also misread the 48 hr. rule when I went back to check it. All good.

I wanted to use the shot of the scoot but there was obviously too much info, they've got style though.

Because I'm lazy I don't want to let a good tag go to waste, I'm going to cede my tag to jose gomez and put this one into play. I know where it is, but will leave it up to others to locate and tag it.

"Exit Through the Gift Shop" isn't actually a direct clue leading to the tag, but... I'll wait a day before dropping one if needed.

Pretty sure I know where this is. Might have to go grab it tomorrow.

would you believe i took this photo at 9:15 this morning? it's taken me all day to fix my blackberry so i can transfer the photo to my computer. no web access for now; anyway, have always had a problem uploading from the blackberry.

Pondered scootin' this morning to work until I saw weather.com: 44degF. Yah, I don't think so LA.

Didn't feel that cold riding, but I put the liner in my jacket, donned the balaclava and glove liners this morning. This weekend is looking ugly, though.
