Excellent Job! Now you have to post a new tag within 48 hours (hopefully sooner on the weekends!)
Thank you for getting that tag!
Can't wait for some fresh blood!

Petersen tag
Excellent shot tony. I love it when people look at me funny while I'm taking a shot of my scoot at some interesting location. It sparks a conversation about scooter tag -- which they all think is a hoot, too.

Should be easy.. hope I'm playing "correctly".
Please don't get run over by a bus when snappin' photo. NB: I browsed all 33 pages of LA tag & noticed this part of the city has yet to be tagged.

???????????
I'm not sure what your "Exit through the gift shop" reference is to....
or why you would feel compelled to Hijack something as your first (2nd?) post here on the site. That's not how the game is played: you don't like the tag, so you hijack it for your own purposes?.... doesn't seem very friendly. How about it LA Taggers? What say you? If it were my vote, I would invite Jose to go get the original tag and THEN post his wall. Anyone else want to weigh in? If I was in town, I would run up to LA to Immediately tag the original Landmark which is easy to find! |

I believe it was once the case that a tag could be hijacked if it had not been tagged after a certain amount of time.
EDITED TO ADD (from first post in this thread): pchop wrote: *ADDED: if the person who does not post a new photo within 48 hours, anyone may hijack the tag and start a new photo. As for "Exit Through the Gift Shop," it's a good clue! Google it. It's been in the news this week! |

Oof, okay, the 48 hr. hijack rule is only if someone hits a tag and doesn't post a new one within that time.
I'm sort of shocked things are at such a lull that no one has hit the previous tag! Centrally-located. Easy to find... Not going to get any easier. Of course, I haven't hit it yet either... |

So upset over a picture. It was a week since this thread was touched. Delete it, ignore it. Who cares?
I really don't understand complaining about not knowing what something is in reference to, when it literally takes 0.21 seconds to click google. You've already done the hard part and dialed on to AOL. Kindly point me in the direction of the "Introduce yourself" or "Post your scooter" thread and I'll graciously bow out of your game until I achieve at least 100 posts. Maybe I'll go chat about Bill's helmet for a while. Peace. |

Okeh, okeh... Putting on my Moderator hat for a moment here, let's all stop going after one another here. Tag is good. Tag should not get ugly. Name calling isn't acceptable at all. (Moderator hat coming off now...)
We need to be recruiting and encouraging new taggers. One of the reasons tags are sitting for so long is probably that many who participated in the beginning no longer are and we need more participants. If a new tagger errs, re-posts a tag (which I have done) or otherwise transgresses, it's probably because this has been going on for so long and the groundrules seem to have eroded or just aren't working with the current level of participation. I think we should review the rules and discuss whether they should be modified. |

I see I misinterpreted the 48 hour rule. I was a little lifted and that picture was burning a hole in my pocket. I am more than apologetic to anyone I may have offended. Please PM me if you have any concerns.

Because
"Exit Through the Gift Shop" isn't actually a direct clue leading to the tag, but... I'll wait a day before dropping one if needed. jose gomez wrote: I guess it's too easy. I'm hijacking cause I just watched Exit Through the Gift Shop. ![]() |

Jose, looks like you stimulated enough interest to get the game going again. Good job!
My apologies if my last post was too harsh. I love scooter tag and love when new people get involved. Welcome to the game! Sorry if we got off on the wrong foot! Play on! |

Tonight, someone can officially "hijack" the game! Anyone?
I know I won't be in the LA area anytime soon, but if the tags want to turn a little more generic... I can play from down in the South Bay! 8) |

argh! Know where it is (had help though) but... I think it might be closer to RobynS. Glad to see LA Scootergirl putting some miles on the scoot scoot this week though.
Pondered scootin' this morning to work until I saw weather.com: 44degF. Yah, I don't think so LA. |
