I may have to go and snag the tag this weekend. But I was kinda hoping others wanted to play..

I know exactly where that is and TOTALLY want to play! But no time to ride, and working round the clock (it feels like).

I can wait if you want to go get it. Just want some more people to get involved!

Maybe if the tag wasn't going around in the same small area - Venice and MDR are just a bit far for some. Shame tomorrow is Father's Day - I'd go out there tomorrow and then pull the tags to some other part of town.

The beauty of our scoots is that they have motors which makes them great to get around on....
The idea of this game is to get people riding.

despite not taggin', lots of us ride "a lot", just not 30miles out to MDR

Just so people on the west side of LA don't have to ride far either, maybe we should find out where everyone lives, then triangulate our locations so tagging will only be done in a location equidistant to everyone...

Same small area? It honestly hasn't been that long on the West Side. There have been plenty of tags that sit and sit and they are in the middle of the city (like the Thai Town one). Excuses...

I "could" grab the tag but I want some more variety and encouraging others to join in on the fun instead of it being passed around the same 2-3 people. Perhaps I should just tag it and make my next tag way out to the East.

Going to try to hit it up Friday.

Idea on when a tag gets uber held up, enter the Russian roulette option. E.g if someone tags say a subway, one can say any subway in l.a. I think this has been done before but worth repeating when things get bogged down.

Murphys law a tag will get held up on opposite parts of town....

That Jim Morrison tag is a great tag, love that mural. I've been gone. I'm in China otherwise I'd go tag it. Missing my scooter too. I'll be back in the game in a few weeks. That's the thing about this game, sometimes the tags sit awhile but they are all tag-able. I'm one of those east siders guilty of tagging on the east side or Hollywood, but I also get to the west side for tags. Someone should snag that. Jim deserves another scooter pictured with him. Ride on.

I headed out to take a photo of this mosaic made by the artists at Topanga Art Tile. On the way home I saw the signpost for the Watts Towers. Never having been there before I snapped a photo there, too, just in case -- but I see that back in '06 the Towers were already tagged -- so this is your mission.

Nice! Those complaining about the beach locations should be all over this!

Long holiday weekend...keep this tag going.....woot! This tag out of my non freeway range. Mid la peeps...rock it!

that's right, scooterists -- travel our city streets and see all kinds of neighborhoods. you miss out taking just the freeway. there are so many interesting nooks and crannies to enjoy. this is an easy weekend ride through and around downtown to the east side.

I've never taken my GTS on any freeway besides accidentally getting on the 101 for a few miles. I only scoot around the city and I explore and discover the city in a way I've never done so before, it's awesome!!

Some of can only dream of such a artful, romantic take on city commute.

Personally, to tag the tiles would take 40min r/t via freeway. To go local would take 80. I've previously driven locally thru Cudahy/Bell/Bell Gardens/Lynwood due to rush hour avoidance. It ain't Abbot Kinney, that is for sure.

I'm all over this today - I'll get this tag a rolling. I was looking for something to do on this sunny day off from work. I'll grab a new tag on the way home and post them both this afternoon.

Just a quick 40 mile round trip jaunt down to Watts! Next time I'm out riding that long in short sleeves I'll remember my sunblock. I should have brought my swimsuit this pool looked very welcoming!

Ok new tag - seriously people easiest tag ever! Doesn't have to be this one, just any fireworks stand! Lots of cities don't allow them but perhaps the city next to you does. Go get it!!
