Modern Vespa

That's the idea of the nationwide tags currently running.
It takes away from the 'thrill' of riding your scoot to discover the tag location posted.

I thought someone would have gone to get this already. It is a mini adventure if you don't have a stand in your town, this was 3 cities away from my place. Just wanted to get the next tag going along and see if we could get a new one up this weekend. I just know someone has something amazing they want to bring to the game and this is an easy step forward.

Why not go get it and put something up that would be a nice ride out for the next tag?

Love that you found the same one I'm out with my family in Riverside for the next few days but I hope someone picks this up before I get back. I rode my Vespa out this morning to my parents house, took 4 hours going the back roads - the LXV is just not very freeway friendly.

Whew! Just spent a hot hour on the bike scooting around town. Here's Randy's Donuts, followed by a 1964 structure built to showcase the strength, construction advantages, and architectural possibilities of concrete.

Dang! I went early early in the morning (you can tell from the shadows) to beat the heat.
Did you get any donuts? I picked up some crumb, sprinkles and one with sugar dusting. They were really really good. I'd be in trouble if this joint was closer to me!

I have a bunch of architect friends who live/work in this building. I may just have to pay them a visit.

OK. Now I officially hate riding around downtown. the attendant at the Geffen Contemporary wanted me to pay $8 to take this photo in their parking lot.

DANG Scootergirl, you get around! That's why I parked so far away from the mural. The attendant was walking towards me, and I rode/ran away via the sidewalk.

I got the photo for free because I rode in thru the EXIT line around the puncture hooks, quickly took the snap and, on my way out, the attendance yelled at me that I had to pay -- "even for just taking a photo of the wall?" -- yes. I was already on my bike and out the door. Only the second place in LA that required scooter pay for parking (other was blue whale at design center -- so I parked on the sidewalk, no sweat).

Really, they charge scooters to park at the PDC??? I gotta see this for myself...

it was a couple years ago, and it was a special event, but even with my invitation, the parking attendant was uppity and turned me away. I was walking my bike (motor on) on the sidewalk when a Deputy Sheriff stuck his head out the window and asked me what I was doing. I told him parking on the sidewalk. He said OK, just turn your motor off first. Go figure.

Yes. There are a ton of new riders and MV members in the area; could be they're not looking for this here or don't know what this is all about.

I went downtown to get THE taco stand in the tag but I had scooted there on a Tuesday which turns out to be a day they don't set up to sell tacos. ergo no tag photo from me.....yet.
I think the game just has its ups and downs with tag action. This is very tag-able. That taco stand will set up tonight for any taggers itching to get it out there.

So sorry P! I wish their "Social Media" officer would let people know more often / frequently.

hey Tonyc, that taco stand Mexicali is taste-a-licious. I had the zuperman and it was sooo good, & helped myself to a carne asada taco too.

ok next up peeps. The glorious sun rays were all over Jimi this morning and I couldn't get a sweet clear picture. I'm posting 2 pictures that will hopefully be clear enough for clues. But I thought better to post than hold up the game. Maybe somebody can snap this tag and feature Jimi better as he deserves in a beautiful pic with their scoot.
