Now this shot is tough to nail down so I am going to give you a hint. It was taken on a college campus in Malibu. (subtle right?!)

Today was a georgous day, prefect to ride up the coast to Pepperdine U.. Unfortunately it is private and the old fart guard, below, would not let me in to take photos.

Fortunately, the lady guard at the south end did let me in:

nice! When I went I just followed a bunch of cars in through the gate and didn't have a problem, but good thinking on your part I admire your determination! Looking forward to your new tag.

The gentleman probably has a wife that will not allow him to have a motorcycle. My wife suggested I should.

I am a Telecommunications Technician, since 1966. I like the 50,000 watt AM radio antenna in the So.Bay shown below:

The parking lot for the public park is open and free.

Can we get a hint for this one?

The 50,000 watt AM radio stations in LaLaLand are:
640 KFI, with a top hat antenna in La Mirada,
1020 KTNQ, with an antenna array in Industry, and
1070 KNX with it's antenna in the South Bay:

And, even more obscure, why they have multiple towers for a single radio station

Multiple antennas are engineered directional. See the map of the signal strength.

Back in the CB age, mid-'70's to mid-'80's, my car had a pair of 9' whip antennas, on the rear corners. My signal was more than 5 times stronger forward than sides and rear. I cared about where I was going, not where I had been.

...but did mount an 8' whip to the rear bumper of my (fiberglass-topped) 4Runner. Lost a bit of signal to blanking effects of the metal lower half of the body, but it worked well enough. I miss those days (for me, Interior Alaska in the mid-'90s)...
Then the sunspot cycle came back around and made CB useless for anything except working the skip, and I put the gear away. In retrospect, I missed out on the low between Cycle 23 and Cycle 24 when I could have used it... LOL.

Anyhow, here's the tag photo -- I'll post a new tag in the next day or two.

As usual, I'm a bit behind on posting the tag.

If anyone in Downtown L.A. or thereabouts is interested in playing, I'll establish a tag up that way, otherwise, I'll just do another South Bay or Westside one.

Any reasonable approximation of this shot is acceptable -- this exact spot might not have been an entirely legal stopping place. Heh.

MIGHT not?? As far as I can tell, you stopped in the hashed area in the center of the road, just left of the left turn lane. Should have good weather later today, and the sun should be good from the southwest, about 2 pm. Looks like legal parking just to the left of the building, and I take a picture from about the same point, just about 30 feet NE of where your stopped.

I didn't feel comfortable with the first photo position....ahem...

Yep, it was on the hashed area in the middle of Culver Blvd, I stopped at the same point:

In point of fact, that's precisely where that photo was taken, unofficially*. I was trying to highlight the "triangular-ness" of the building, and that was the best point to do it.

*Officially, it's a Photoshop composite. Either that, or I'll claim insanity: "Your Honor, would anybody in their right mind park in the median next to a left turn lane? The defense rests."

Have done 190 miles in two days, one day to S.O. to pick up a floor mat and your tag and down in O.C. for two more tags that I haven't posted yet.

In olibear's tag the "...creation ...NS" was probably someone's recreation department's garden. Once I heard it was around JPL I could look at green areas in Google Maps and could find it, saw it on street view, just waiting for the weather.
